May Membership Meeting & New Member Showcase
The highlight of the May membership meeting was the New Member Showcase. Twenty of the Chambers newest members spotlighted their businesses during the first hour of the meeting. Curves celebrates 10th Anniversary

Cinco de Mayo "Business After Hours" at Crystal Creek
Chamber members and their guests enjoyed a wonderful "Cinco de Mayo" party at our May Business After Hours hosted by Crystal Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Florissant. The courtyard was decorated in style and included a Taco Bar, Made- to -Order Quesadillas and a Margarita Bar. THANK YOU to Crystal Creek for making this such a festive event! DeLeo's Cafe & Deli Celebrates Grand Opening
One of the North County areas newest restaurants, DeLeo's Cafe and Deli had its ribbon cutting ceremony in April. On hand for the event were owners and staff of DeLeo's, local Florissant Officials, Chamber Ambassadors, Board and Staff. This quaint deli is warm and inviting and spacious enough for a group gathering. DeLeo's is located at 2782 N. Hwy 67 in Florissant. The phone number is 314-831-3222. North County Adult Center, LLC Grand Opening
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in April for new chamber member North County Adult Center, LLC. This adult daycare facility is located at 500 Greenway Manor Dr. (63031). Dave Mungenast Hyundai Grand Opening
Dave Mungenast Hyundai celebrated the Grand Opening of its brand new facility located at 649 Dunn Rd. in Hazelwood. This 35,000 sq.-ft. 7 million dollar facility is state of the art with 16 bays, information kiosks for clients, a cafe, indoor vehicle drop-off and pick-up area, playroom for the children and much more. On hand the for the ribbon cutting ceremony were members of the Mungenast family, dealership staff, customers and staff members from the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce.
Batteries Plus Ribbon Cutting
New Chamber member Batteries Plus celebrated its newly expanded floor space and inventory now featuring a large selection of energy saving light bulbs with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 19. On hand for the festivities were owner Steve Donnell, staff of Batteries Plus, Florissant Mayor Tom Schneider, Chamber board members, staff and Ambassadors. Stop by Batteries Plus located at 113 N. Hwy 67 in Florissant for all of your battery and light bulb needs.
