ADOPT A VETERAN FOR THE HOLIDAYS
It is one of our favorite times of the year! It is time to give our Veterans the best holiday season ever! Don’t worry, you can help!
With your donation, you can help ensure that each Veteran receives a gift this holiday season. Past years have seen our Veterans receive baseball caps with their names embroidered on the back, gift cards for the Canteen, and clocks displaying time and temperature!
The Missouri Veterans Home-St. Louis is a 300 bed skilled care nursing facility located at 10600 Lewis and Clark Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri that provides care to America’s Heroes at their time of need. All funds raised during this campaign will be placed into a special fund used for holidays and events we celebrate with our Heroes throughout the year.
Donations of all sizes, both large and small, are always appreciated. This year for just $30.00 you can make a difference in the “holiday spirit” experience for one of our Veterans.
Making a donation to the Adopt-A-Vet program couldn’t be easier! You may send in a check or money order to St. Louis Veterans Home Committee, 3905 Germania St., St. Louis, Missouri 63116; you may make a donation online at www.slvhc.org; or you can call the Volunteer Services office at 314-340-6389 extension 239 to make a credit/debit card donation. Each donation is tax deductible as the St. Louis Veterans’ Home Committee is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Thank you for giving back to those that have given so much to each of us!
